How is cold pressed sesame oil made?
Freshly cultivated sesame seeds go under a rigorous cleaning process to get rid of any small stones or other impurities from them. They are then transferred into a separate huge vessel and again cleaned in water.
The fresh seeds are then dried in a huge designated space for about 24 hours in a solar dryer at 50 degrees. The dried sesame seeds are collected in batches and are fed into the main wooden oil press machine. 10% of palm jaggery is added to the existing quantity of sesame in the container. The oil is then extracted after grinding them for hours.
